Crèche

The crèche forms an integral part of Role Model School, because it is the foundation of the school. It is a serene and warm environment with dedicated and committed Care Givers. Children between the ages of 3 months and 15 months are cared for.

Playgroup

Playgroup is a class for children between the ages of 15 months to 24 months. Learning in the playgroup class includes sand play, water play, scribbling, colouring, tracing, rhymes, personal, social and emotional development etc. Learning takes place in a conducive, loving and beautiful environment with knowledgeable and experienced teachers.

Nursery

The Nursery classes comprises of: Reception (2 years – 3 years), Nursery 1 (3 years – 4 years), Nursery 2 (4 years – 5 years). Subjects taught in the Nursery class include Numeracy, Literacy & Phonics, Personal, Social & Emotional Development, Christian Religious Knowledge, Rhymes etc. They learn through play-way, role-play and hands on methods. The teachers are warm, caring and committed to bringing out the best in the children.

Montessori

Though we are not a full Montessori school, we follow the concept and use some of the Montessori materials in our Pre-School.

Primary

The Lower Primary

The lower primary is for children between the ages of 5 years -7 years, the subject taught includes Numeracy and Literacy,French,ICT,Christian religious knowledge,Music,Yoruba e.t.c Extra-Curricular activities like  swimming, karate, brownie, ballet e.t.c are also introduced at this level..

The Upper Primary

These are classes for children between the ages of 8 years – 11 years. The subjects taught include Numeracy, Literacy, Music, ICT, Integrated Social Learning (combination of History, Social Studies, Citizenship and Geography), Arts and Craft, Science, French, Yoruba, Christian Religious Knowledge, Quantitative and Verbal Reasoning, Physical Education etc. Children deepen their understanding of the subjects by observing, planning, experimenting, testing, thinking through, thinking back, repeating, reflecting, writing and defending projects etc.

After School Care

This is a programme targeted at keeping the children who are picked up late busy. They are guided by the teachers to do part of their homework. They are taught hygiene habits, different skills and lots of games.

Information Technology

Within our curriculum, ICT is at the center of learning. The focus of this is to ensure that children develop from an early stage, the essential literacy and numeracy skills they need to learn in order to provide them with a guaranteed and well rounded teaching which will help to foster their creativity.
