Admission Policy
Role Model school is a Christian school and her admission is open to all children considering they are able to follow our ethos and values as a Christian School.
Admission into Role Model School is strictly based on merit in exception to availability of space. An entrance exam will be conducted once a session. Children seeking admission into any of the classes must have attained the class age by September of the year of admission. Admission into year 6 is based on management discretion. In determining admission to RMS for all prospective pupils, multiple factors are considered. RMS reserves the right to deny any pupil admission at any time for any reason and is not obligated to disclose the reasons for the denial.
To maintain quality of standard, it is our prerogative to deny any individual admission in the event of deficiency in academic performance, depending on the child’s age. RMS does not offer admission to pupils whose educational, social and/or physical needs cannot be met by RMS’s existing programmes, services, or staff.
Applicable admission processing fee is non-refundable; also the school reserves the right to dismiss, without refunding tuition to any pupil whose conduct is considered detrimental to the best interest of RMS and other pupils or whose parents do not cooperate with our educational procedures, standards, and vision.

Admission Procedure
Step 1: Place name on the online waiting list.
Looking to come into Role Model School, register child’s name on the Waiting List which is at the bottom of this page between September and March.
You will be contacted via email when the admission process begins.
Enrolment to Crèche
The admission process is carried out according to space availability. Prospective parents who fall under this category will be contacted as need be. Which could be termly, sessional or as the need arises. Children will be shortlisted from the waiting list.
Contacted parents of candidates shortlisted for the interview will be informed by email or telephone.Kindly go through the admission procedure below. Step 2 and Step 3 are not applicable.
Enrolment to playgroup - Year 6
The steps of Admission procedure are as follows:
Step 2: Fill the application form online. As you will be informed in due course when the portal will be open for registration. There will be a non-refundable payment of admission processing fee during this step. Kindly note that errors made during this process can lead to an automatic disqualification.
Step 3: Entrance Examination– The date of the Entrance Examination which is usually on a Saturday will be communicated via email messages.
Pupils coming into Nursery 1, Nursery 2 and all Primary Classes are assessed and selected based on merit. On the day of the Entrance Examination, candidates are expected to come early. They will be tested on Numeracy and Literacy. This step is not applicable to Playgroup and Reception classes.
Step 4: Interview – After the Entrance Examination,children who meets the cut off mark stipulated by the school will be shortlisted for interview. Parents of these shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
Upon the call for interview, the following documents must be submitted:
1 Passport Photograph each for child and parents.
• Photocopy of updated Immunization Record, which should include: Chicken Pox (Varicella), MMR (2 Doses), Typhoid, Meningitis and Hepatitis A for children that are two years of age and above.
Photocopy of Birth Certificate
• Child’s previous term’s report from last school attended
• Recommendation letter
• Evidence of last school fees payment
Step 5: Medical Examination: Prospective pupil will be required to carry-out medical examination at the school’s designated hospital.
Step 6: After the interview and medical examination, only successful candidates will be given admission letters. Upon receipt of offer letter, you will be required to pay required fees within 2 weeks (10 working days) of offer after which your space will be declared vacant and given to the next candidate on supplementary list.
Step 7: Supplementary List– When successful candidates step down or do not meet up with the deadline for payment, those on the supplementary list will replace the candidates. Upon receipt of offer letter, supplementary candidates will be required to pay required fees within the stipulated time.
Kindly see below the age requirement for admission into any particular class. PLEASE NOTE that children seeking admission into any of the classes must have attained the class age by September of the year of admission. Kindly adhere to the class age appropriation as failure to do so leads to disqualification.
